But when I was there I was like; why not buy some polishes for my giveaway? And here you go. 2 of them I had in my stash already, the rest I bought for myself too :P

Day 14 - A Polish That Is Inexpensive

This one is easy! I found this one like 2 or 3 weeks ago at a drugstore. There is this gross thing with little basket kind of things with make-up and all that jazz that is discontinued. That sentence made no sense, so let's go on. I got this polish for only € 0,50 :D In dollars that's only $ 0,70! :O This is Essence Midnight Rocker.

This is one of my favorite polishes! I love that it's almost black, I love that it's blue. I love it on my nails! :)

If I find more of these, I will buy them! xD I also wanted to see the effect of it matte and love it! I used Gosh's matte topcoat again. I love how it's matte, but still shiny!

And no dark nail polish without flakies. :P Here I used Golden Rose Scale Effect #9.

Do you like almost black colors or do you go for black? Or no dark colors at all? Let me know :)

Thanks for reading!

Day 9 - A Polish That Is Vampy [China Glaze - City Siren]

* * * Make sure to check out my giveaway! * * *

[EDIT: I just found out that my post from Day 8 never posted, while I did schedule it... So I'll post Day 8 tomorrow and Day 10 the day after]

This post is a little later than usual, only like 9 hours, but it's still Friday so I'm on time :) A color that I think is vampy is City Siren from China Glaze. Why? Just because... :P

City Siren is from the Metro Fall collection. You may have noticed that I've used this color a few times before here, here and here.

If you've been following me for a longer time you may remember the matte plus shiny stamping from my Black On Black Nails post.

I'm thinking about doing a comparison between some matte topcoats, because this one is completely different than the Gosh matte topcoat. This one is from Etos :)

What do you think of matte nails with a shiny stamp?

Bloody Hell nails

* * * Make sure to check out my giveaway! * * *

This is just something random I did like a week ago. I wanted to try out this fan nail art brush :P I still don't know the use of it xD

I painted my nails with a dark grey, Miss Sporty Lasting Colour nr. 420. Over that I sponged Catrice's ASHley and Color Club's Black. I put some red nail polish on a paper, China Glaze's City Siren, dipped the fan brush in it and dragged it over my nails :P This is the result.

I have to say I kinda dig it... xD I wanted to see what it looked like matte, so used the Matte Effect top coat from Gosh.

Which one do you like better? The shiny or matte one?

Pink Wednesday: Sugar Flakes

* * * Make sure to check out my giveaway! * * *

Okay, I have 9 minutes before it's midnight and I really want it up on Wednesday :P

After finding out an hour ago it's Wednesday I had to come up with something! I had an idea in mind, but actually changed it into this simple thing :P

I painted my nails with 2 coats of China Glaze Sugar High and on top of it I applied my new matte top coat from Gosh. It takes forever to dry so I had to 2 one nail over.

Since that's a bit boring I decided to add 2 coats of a flakie polish from Golden Rose. This is number 09.

I wanted to see what it would look like with the matte top coat, so applied that over it again. I like how it came out!

While editing these pictures for this post I noticed that the flakies look purple on the pictures, but in real life they're actually orange and green! No matter what angle I look at my nails, the flakies are orange :P

And I wanted to thank everybody who's following me :) I just hit 81 followers! I know it's because of the giveaway, but I hope you'll stay with me after it :P

Thanks for reading!

Black On Black nails

Hey you!

Today just a picture of my nails with a little bit of Konad (plate m57)! I just painted my nails black and applied a matte topcoat over that. Then I went with the black nailpolish over the image that I wanted and stamped it on my nails. I love it so much! You could do it with another color too of course, but I think with just black it looks the nicest. I can't wait until it's the time of the year where I like to wear darker colors on my nails :)

NOTD - Ruffian Manicure

Hello!

Today I will show you something that I've seen a few weeks ago on beautybeforebreakfast. A 'ruffian manicure'. This was my first time trying it and even though it was a bit of a fail, I will show you anyways :P

This manicure wasn't that hard to make. You paint your nails in a base color. I used Snow Motion from Catrice. After that I applied a contrasting color; Hot or Not, also from Catrice. You don't have to use contrasting colors. You can also take colors that are similar to each other if you don't feel comfortable with your nails standing out so much.

Later I decided to add a matt topcoat over the pink color, just to see what that would look like. I think if I would just take one color and paint the part where I now have the pink color just with a matt topcoat it would look nice too!

Thanks for reading and I hope to see you back :)
