Day 3 - A Polish That Makes Me Happy [Nubar - Prize]

* * * Make sure to check out my giveaway! * * *

Is there anybody out there that has a polish that makes them happy? I haven't found mine yet, so I decided to pick a color I haven't shown here before. Nubar - Prize, 3 coats.

This is an interesting polish. It's from the same collection as Jewel and has the same sandy kind of texture to it. It's holographic, but not as much as it looks like in the pictures. It's also not as pink as it looks like in the pictures. In real life it's more on it's way to be a brick color.

Since it has a bit of a 'dry' texture I decided to show different looks of it. In the picture above and in the first one below I'm wearing it without a topcoat.

Here I'm wearing it with a topcoat.

Here I'm wearing it with Gosh's matte topcoat. Still glittery and you still see that in real life.

And here I'm wearing it with a topcoat over the matte topcoat. I hope that's not confusing, but I wanted to see what would happen if I don't like it matte. Is it possible to go back shiny? Yes! :P

And here the 3 looks next to each other.

No topcoat, Matte topcoat, Poshé topcoat
Thanks for reading!

Nubar - Jewel

Today's swatch is of my first Nubar polish, Jewel. A Jewel it is!

I am going to try my best to describe this one :P Jewel is brown metallic-ish based and has a different kind of holo than others; small holo glitters with chunky pieces in it.

Here you can see it really well!

And here you can see the texture of it. To me it's kind of sandy or something. I don't think I have a polish like that (or never wore it yet) but I did like it. It's different to me.

In the pictures I wore 3 coats, but the next day I wore it all day and needed 2 coats. I went to the zoo with these nails and the only thing I used my hands for was taking pictures. After a few hours in the zoo they were already chipping off really badly! So yeah, I didn't really like that.
