Hello and sorry for the late post of today. We're on day 5 of the Untrieds month and I picked a Miss Sporty polish I bought a while ago. The pictures aren't color accurate, but I really couldn't capture it with my camera.
Nr. 346 is actually green. It reminded me of Christmas when I had it on my nails, but it's not a Christmas green. In the bottle it looks completely different! I do not like this one at all, just because of the color. I do like the shimmer in it a lot, though.
Miss Sporty nail polishes are my fave when it comes to the brush. It's just the most amazing and easiest thing to work with. Maybe I'll show you some different brands next to each other :)

Untrieds Day 1: Essie - School Of Hard Rocks
Remember that day where I said I would totally finish that 30 days of polish challenge and blah blah blah... Obviously I failed... AGAIN! I feel like the weak one on here :P
Anyhow! I just found out that somebody started the 30 days of untrieds starting November 1st. I think I'm allowed to be in it :P I was actually getting some polishes together before I knew about this, but I'm far away from 30 polishes... But who says I'm not buying new stuff?
This is my first Essie! :) I got it from Nory and I applied it for the first time yesterday. And Oh-Em-Gee! I LOVED the application. Not ever I had a nail polish apply like this, maybe I have but I don't remember.
One coat was enough. Nothing more was needed. The color is lovely and I can't wait to get more Essie's. Not that every polish from a brand will be so amazing, but I'm just still flying high here.
So yeah, a little Fairy Dust felt on my nails and it was looking lovely :)
I have no idea yet if I'm actually 'allowed' in this challenge thing, because I only spoke to one of the girls in this challenge who said it was okay. So if this post disappears, I wasn't allowed to be in it :P

Golden Rose Flakies [picture spam]
* * * 4 days left to enter my giveaway! * * *
Sorry for not posting for a few days. I'm just really not in the mood at the moment; girl problems.
I wanted to get some more Golden Rose flakies, but couldn't really find swatches. I finally found a page that showed all of them and I was surprised that all 15 are actually just 4 different flakies!
So if you want to see the 4 different ones, keep on reading.
This is number 04. In real life it looks green most of the time, but in some lighting and angles you can catch a beautiful blue! And sometimes green and blue. Number 04, 06, 11 and 14 are the same ones.
This is number 09. It's an orange/yellow flakie. You see both colors really well in real life. Number 03, 05, 07, 08, 09, 10 and 12 are the same.
This is number 13. You can also win number 13 in my giveaway btw. Number 13 is green/orange. The orange can be yellow at some times too. Number 01 and 13 are the same ones.
The last one is number 15. I think this is the most special one, because it looks kinda rainbow-ish in real life. But on the pictures the blue is really standing out next to the orange and yellow. Number 02 and 15 are the same ones.
Here I have them all next to each other. Number 04, 09, 13 and 15.
Without the flash you actually see them at their best!
From each flakie I used 1 coat and put them over Wet 'n Wild Fantasy Makers Black Cream that I got from Nory.
What do you think of the flakies? Do you have some of these? Or from other brands? And which ones do you recommend? :) I know, lots of questions! :P
Thanks for reading!

Day 6 - A Polish I've Never Worn [Color Club - Nouveau Vintage/Snakeskin]
* * * Make sure to check out my giveaway! * * *
You may have seen this post yesterday, because I failed typing the right date :P
For this day I actually had quite a few polishes to choose from. I picked two, both from Color Club. I picked these, because of 2 reasons:
1. I wanted to have them so badly and when I had them I never even looked at it.
2. Looking at the bottle they look a lot like each other.
I can tell you that that last one is far from true when on the nails.
Here I have Nouveau Vintage for you. In the bottle this looks really green, but is completely different on the nails. It's a really sheer polish, so I'm wearing three coats. It has kind of a bronze base and has green, red, blue, yellow, green and orange micro shimmer in it. The green and red are most noticeable in real life.
See how green it looks in the bottle?
This is Snakeskin. It doesn't even come close to the color of Nouveau Vintage. In these pictures it looks kinda metallic silver, but in real life it looks like what you see in the bottle of Nouveau Vintage. This one has gold micro glitter in it which looks really pretty! In the pictures this one looks really streaky, but in real life it doesn't. I'm wearing two coats.
Just an unnecessary comparison :P
Which one do you like better? Do you have any of these polishes? Leave me a comment below :)
Thanks for reading!

Catrice - After Eight
Hello!
Today I have a pretty polish to share with you! This is Catrice's After Eight, a polish from the new collection. When I think of the words After Eight I think of tea. I remember a commercial from a few years ago about tea, or cookies named like that and they were in a green package. Just a little fact :P
After Eight is a shimmery deep green polish with really small green and blue glitters in it. The polish is very pigmented and you can just apply one coat. For some reason I thought I needed another coat and didn't let the first coat dry, so I got a little bit of cuticle drag.
This polish is gonna be great for fall and winter. I honestly can't wait for it, because I love cold weather! My nails want to match the weather :P
Here you can really see the glitter and shimmer. Love it! The polish did went on a bit streaky, but you can hardly even tell in real life!
Thanks for reading!

Day 9 - Rainbow Nails
My days fly by! :P Skipping day 6, go to day 7, skipping day 8 and go to day 9 in one day! I don't even know if that is a right sentence, but whatever xD I'm excited about this one!
Rainbow nails! This color combination is something that I've used since kindergarten. Well, it actually started when we had to make a stupid decoration that we could connect easily and to make it all nice and neat we had to do red, yellow, green and blue. I changed that later into pink, orange, yellow, green and blue.
I should've made pictures from the beginning, so you could see what it looked like, but I think you get the idea. I just did it really simple; paint my nails pink and from there painting another color higher on my nail. The next day, yes THE NEXT, I applied 5 thin strips of striping tape all over every nail and painted it black. That was more of a drama than I expected it to be.... :P
Later I pulled the tape off and it wasn't really that nice looking, but nice enough that people around me wouldn't see the mess I made xD
At night my nails actually started to look dull, even though I applied a top coat. But my top coat is halfway in the bottle so it's hard to get out of it, so that actually ruins my manicures easily too.
And these three pictures are just for the like :P I like the first 2 of these 3 :)

Day 5 - Blue nails
We're on day 5 of this so far lovely challenge! After the bit of a failing post of yesterday with just one boring ugly picture, I have 5 for you now! :) (oh and I just found out my camera doesn't always focus on my nails, but the bottles I hold...)
For day 5 I'm showing you some blue nails :P This is Essence's Choose Me! and I think this is one that's been out there for a while. Let me tell you; this polish is gorgeous! When I look at the bottle I see like blue and kind of green and lots of glitters! Besides blue and green glitters it also has silver which I think adds a little something more to this polish.
I applied two coats of polish which in real life looks opaque, but for longer nails you definitely need 3 or maybe even 4 coats!
Later I applied Essence Blue Addicted over it; a very jelly polish. It's a very sheer blue polish and I think Choose Me! is a very nice base color to combine it with.
As you can see it has chunky blue and green glitters. I knew there were green glitters in it, but I don't like this kind of green... So I don't really like this polish to be honest.

Day 4 - Green Nails
I'm gonna be honest; I'm so tired today that I'm too lazy to write something. But I'm gonna try! :P
This is Catrice's Sold Out Forever. I once bought it because a lot of Dutch beauty blogs were raving about it! The reason that everybody was raving about it, is because this is a dupe of Chanels Jade! This polish got discontinued just a few days ago, but I still have it and never wore it.
I'm wearing 2 coats of the polish, but on the picture you can clearly see a third one was needed :P You can also see the shimmer that's in this polish which is a really nice shimmer. Usually I don't like shimmers, but they're definitely growing on me.

China Glaze - For Audrey + Comparison
Hello! I was planning to show this pretty color on day 5 of the challenge, but since I'm planning on buying a lot of new polishes tomorrow I figured I could just show you now! :)
I think almost everybody has this nail polish. When I ordered this one instead of the next day this came about 2/2,5 weeks later. But I knew it would come later anyway :P I wanted to have this one, because I wanted something close to Tiffany's blue. I still don't really know if this is close to it, but I do know it's a gorgeous color!
Since I own a few blue polishes that I though came close to For Audrey I decided to compare them. The result:
Nothing close to each other at all! Mint Cream is from ELF and actually the first blue/green I actually wore. I got lots of compliments on it and that made me decide I can wear blue nails :)
Am I Blue Or Green is from Catrice. It looks almost white on the picture, but compared to these two it's a very pale blue. Am I Blue Or Green is actually hard to get on your nails. I've heard more complaints about that, so it's not just me.
Since I said at the beginning of this post; I'm planning on actually get out of the house to buy new nail polishes and I know there are some gorgeous ones from Catrice and Essence, so look out for that!
For now,
xoxo Ingie

My First Franken! Mwhuahahah
[cheesy greating]
Yesterday I came across Laura's blog. She has a really fun contest going on; Create a franken inspired by a movie or TV show. I immediately had something in mind and tried to do something. I liked creating something, but I didn't really like the way it turned out. It's a nice color, but nothing special. I'd like to share the name of it with you, but then you would know from what movie I'm trying to create something :P
I used Catrice - I Sea You, Catrice - Sold Out Forever, Catrice - Blue Cara Ciao, Catrice - I Wear My Sunglasses At Night, Etos sparkle polish and Hema sparkle polish.

How To: Paint Splatter Nails!
Hi hi!
When I saw this result I wasn't very satisfied... It needed a bit of sparkle. I knew I had a purple Essence effect topper I never used before, so I thought I could use that. Not that I like the combination so much, but just so I could show you too :P
And I made some blurry pictures too to really show the sparkle!
This time another first try! Paint splatter nails! I remembered seeing pictures of paint splatter nails and I just thought; Why not give it a try? I painted my nails with a black nail polish. Next I let a little dropped a bit of color fall onto my nail and with a dotting tool I dragged it away, I would say :P For the pink color I used Heli-Yum from China Glaze, for the green one I used Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezy from Catrice and for the yellow one I used Yellow Mellow from Essence.

Doesn't that look nice? If I would do this again I would use another kind of glitter polish depending on what colors I used for the splatter.
Here's a picture of the polishes I used.
